Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chat Moments mobile app (the “app”, published in Turkish as “Sohbet Doktoru”). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. The app is provided by Nursel Bayrak (“we”, the “provider”).
1. What the service is
Chat Moments produces chat-analysis content for entertainment. What we deliver is a one-off report generated on request, which you can save to your device (PDF). We are not a cloud-storage or backup service: your reports are stored only on your device, are not kept on our servers and are not archived for you. Keeping a permanent copy is your responsibility (use Save / Share in the app to export a PDF).
The app’s output is not professional, medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and does not replace it. Do not base important decisions on it. For decisions affecting your relationships, health or life, consult a qualified professional.
2. Age
The app is for users aged 13 and over only. Users under 13 may not use the app. For users aged 13–18 we assume the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. No account, just a device identity
You do not need an account. Your reports are stored only on your device; because we do not keep them on our servers, access ends and cannot be restored by us if you uninstall the app, change phones or lose your device. 4. Acceptable use
By using the app you agree that you will:
- only open chat exports that belong to you, or for which you have the clear permission of the other participants to analyze;
- not upload material that violates third parties’ privacy or contains harassment, threats or hate speech;
- not reverse-engineer the app, send automated requests (bots) or attempt to exceed rate limits;
- comply with the laws of Türkiye and of the country you are in.
Users who violate these rules may be blocked without prior notice.
5. In-app purchases
The app offers one-time purchases such as unlocking a full report. All purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play; payment details are processed only by the store and never reach our servers.
What you buy is digital content generated and delivered immediately (the report / PDF). By confirming the purchase you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that, once the report has been generated and made available to you, your statutory right of withdrawal (“cooling-off”) for distance contracts ends. The purchase is therefore non-refundable once the report is generated. The app asks you to confirm this before you buy.
Regardless of the above, refunds are always handled under the refund policy of the store you bought from:
- iOS: Request a refund from Apple.
- Android: Google Play refund requests.
We are not able to issue refunds directly.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its source code, design, logo, the names “Chat Moments” and “Sohbet Doktoru”, illustrations and text are the provider’s intellectual property and may not be copied, adapted or redistributed without permission. The app uses third-party open-source libraries under their respective licences; a list is available on request. Chat Moments is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp; WhatsApp is a trademark of its owner.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data or reputational harm arising from or related to your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, or excludes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law in your country of residence.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we show a notice in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising from these Terms or from use of the app are subject to the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country; EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
