How does Chat Moments work?
Export a chat from WhatsApp (open the chat → More → Export chat → Without media) and open the file in Chat Moments. The app reads and masks the file on your phone, then uses AI to turn it into a story about the people in the chat.
What languages are supported?
The app is in English and Turkish (it follows your phone’s language; you can change it under Privacy → Language). Your report comes back in the language of the chat itself: an English chat gives an English report, a Turkish chat a Turkish one. Chats in other languages aren’t supported yet.
How does payment work? Is there a subscription?
There is no subscription. Every report comes with a free preview. If you want the full report, you make a single one-time purchase for that report only. You can reopen a purchased report on the same device.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Privacy inside the app and tap “Delete all my data”. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data. We never store your reports on our servers; when you delete, your anonymous ID is regenerated too, so the remaining anonymous usage records can no longer be linked to you — and those are deleted automatically within 12 months.
How is my privacy protected?
Your raw chat file never leaves your phone and is never stored on our servers. Names are replaced with anonymous codes on your device before anything is analyzed. Details: Privacy Policy.
Are the reports accurate?
Chat Moments is an entertainment app. Reports are playful takes, not facts or science. Please don’t base important decisions on them.
